March in Malawi: T minus 4 hours...

Mailing Instructions:

This will be my address from February 27 until May-ish:

- This address will be changing, so make sure to check back before you send anything!

-Don't forget to write "Air Mail" or "Par Avion" on the letter or package.

-It would be great if you numbered your letters, then I will know which ones I am missing and when you sent them.

-Letters take 2-3 weeks, packages 6-9 weeks. It is highly recommended that you always send large envelopes instead of boxes that can take up to twice as long.

-It is also recommended that you write religious phrases or words on the package, it can help greatly with theft!

-Be succinct on the customs form. For example, there is no need to write "wonderful delicious treats" if you are sending chocolate. Try "food product" or something. It will help assure my package gets to me in one piece.

T minus 4 hours...

Officially only 4 hours left until I hop on a bus to JFK to make my trip to Malawi! I attended staging today from about 1 - 7pm. I got to eat my first official cheese steak for lunch and sushi for our final meal in America, which was fantastic! It was great meeting all of the other trainees and I can't wait to get to know them better.Thank you guys for all of your love and support...and I will try to update this blog in a few months when I am finished with training. Wish me luck!!
